


The Bridge Student Film Festival is an annual film festival at Bridgewater State University run by students enrolled in a Film Festival Production course taught by Dr. Michele Meek. The 3rd Annual Film Festival took place on December 4, 2024.

What: The Bridge Student Film Festival is a student-run film festival to showcase and uplift creative, original, and diverse short narrative films and documentaries by public high school and college/university students in New England. The festival will include online and in-person screenings, panel discussion, networking events, and an award ceremony.
When: The in-person festival will take place on Wednesday December 4, 2024 from 1pm-5pm, In addition, there will be screenings online from December 4-10, 2024.
Where: In person screenings/events will take place in the Moakley Auditorium at Bridgewater State University in Bridgewater, MA. Additional screenings will take place online on our website.
Why: To spotlight diverse films by student filmmakers in New England and foster connections among film students from public institutions across the region.
Who: The festival is open to students from public high schools, colleges, and universities in New England. It is run by Dr. Michele Meek’s Film Festival Production course at Bridgewater State University.
